What We Collect

When you use CricCoach AI, we collect:

• Registration data: Athlete name, age, parent name, email, phone number
• Consent data: Guardian selfie, digital signature, timestamp, IP address
• Video data: Batting video uploaded for analysis
• Biometric data: Body pose keypoints (33 joint positions) extracted from video using computer vision
• Analysis data: Coaching reports, scores, drill recommendations generated from the above

Biometric Data

Body pose keypoints extracted from video constitute biometric data under GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. We process this data only with explicit parental/guardian consent for minors. The legal basis is consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a)).

How We Use Your Data

• Generate personalised coaching reports and drill plans
• Deliver reports via email and WhatsApp
• Track athlete progress over time (if multiple sessions)
• Improve our AI models (anonymised, aggregated data only)

We do NOT: sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for any purpose beyond cricket coaching analysis.

Data Storage & Security

• All data stored on AWS infrastructure (eu-north-1 region)
• Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Access restricted to authorised personnel only
• Consent records stored with versioning and point-in-time recovery

Data Retention

• Raw videos: Deleted 90 days after analysis
• Pose keypoints: Retained until consent is withdrawn
• Coaching reports: Retained until consent is withdrawn
• Consent records: Retained for 1 year after last activity, then deleted

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@criccoach.co.in
• Access all data we hold about your child
• Delete all data (right to erasure)
• Export your data in a portable format

Upon consent withdrawal, all video, biometric, and analysis data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

We do not collect data from children directly. All registration and consent is performed by a parent or legal guardian. Video upload requires prior parental consent.
